A player profile, on your terms.

Choose a name, share the interests that matter, and decide whether a public player page belongs in your Tailorgame experience.

A player profile can be as small as a name your friends recognize. It can also say a little about the games you enjoy, the ideas you are working on, or the way you like to play. Tailorgame gives you optional fields for that introduction, so you can decide how much of yourself belongs beside your games.

Begin with the name people will recognize

Your player name is your nickname on Tailorgame. Your full name is a separate optional field. A supported social sign-in can supply a full name and profile photo from the connected account, so review those details before choosing to share a public profile. You can edit or clear your full name; a later sign-in preserves that manual choice. The imported photo comes from your sign-in provider.

A useful bio does not need to sound like a résumé. “I like short puzzle rounds and games with unusual rules” tells another player something concrete. You might mention the kind of challenge you enjoy or the idea you are currently exploring. Leaving the bio blank is equally valid. Your profile does not need to be complete before you can enjoy a game.

Share interests with a purpose

  • Hobbies can add a little context beyond games. Choose a few that you actually want to share.
  • Favorite game types can describe broad interests such as puzzles, card games, or arcade challenges. They do not have to match the current catalog.
  • Location can be as general as a city or country, or left empty. You decide the level of detail.
  • Pronouns and a website are optional. If you add a website, use a valid HTTPS address and check that it is the page you intend to share.

Decide whether a public page suits you

Profiles are private by default. Choosing public visibility makes a player page available to people with its address. That page can include your nickname, full name, photo, bio, location, hobbies, favorite game types, pronouns, and website, along with your joined date and counts of games played and created. Review those fields together before sharing the link: a detail that feels ordinary on its own can reveal more when placed beside the others.

Profile privacy controls the player page. It does not remove the nickname and practice activity that appear in Tailorgame’s public rankings. Keeping that distinction in mind helps you choose a nickname you are comfortable using around other players, even if you leave your detailed profile private.

Leave room to change your mind

You can revisit your profile, clear optional fields, or switch the player page back to private. If you have already shared information publicly, changing the page cannot undo a copy someone else made. A useful habit is to review your details when you change what you want to share. The best profile is one you recognize as yours and feel comfortable keeping alongside your play.
